Mission Ghana

Saturday Greg left our house at 5:30 am and my precious dad took him to the airport, to leave for a mission trip to Ghana, Africa. He will be gone until August 4th...so I am asking that you pray for him, for the team, and that God would do His mighty work in the people!

Greg is so excited and they have prepared for this trip for literally 6 months! One of the women on the trip made a blog so that we could keep up with them on their mission...so if you want to follow them, it is: http://missionghana.blogspot.com

So far, we know they have arrived safely, and when they got there, they literally started "working" without sleep! The latest post said they had eaten dinner and were off to sleep.

Ghana is 5 hours ahead of us on time, so if it is 11:00 am here, it is 4:00 pm there. Our church is asking everyone to stop at 11:00 am every day to pray for our team. So, I'm asking you to join us!

I am proud of Greg, and proud of him for his faith...and for acting on his faith...I know God will bless him and touch his heart! I can't wait to hear all about it!

So proud of Greg and so proud of you for supporting him. I don't know how hard it is with two, but this is work for you too. There is a sacrifice on both ends. I will pray safety over the entire team. God will bless this mission, sister.
