First Day of School

Last week we had Max's first day of P-4 (or Pre-K) he gets confused if people ask him if he is in Pre-K. He will tell you no, then explain that he is in the P-4 program...it's the same thing though. He has adjusted well to school and loves his new teacher...and so do I! Sutton was a little leary and thought I was leaving him, so he stuck to me like white on rice! I didn't mind though because I'm not quite ready for that little man to grow up. It's hard enough to think that Max will be in school everyday next year, let alone thinking of Sutton starting. Daddy takes Max to school when he goes, but I wanted to take him on his first day to get pictures and send him off. So we took some pictures with Dad before we left! Thanks Greg for taking the time to be with him on the way to school and get his day started right!
I was trying to document every move he made...but I won't bore you with all of those pictures! Here Max is in his new class, hanging up his backpack. This year, they all got a locker and he was really excited about that!
We had one of the moms take a picture of us before Sutton and I left. I can't believe my first baby is getting closer and closer to real school. Wow, how time truly flies! Max, Daddy and I are proud of you. We're proud of who you are, and who you are becoming. Your heart is changing...you are learning and understanding so much about Jesus. You have become a great friend to your brother...although you still fight (today it was about who could talk to mom first!) You are my favorite 4 year old! Right now we are working with you on how to say your "th" like in something, or think. Those two letters together really stump you. I think it's kinda cute, but Daddy reminded me we need to teach you how to say it right. I love you little man!

AAWWW!! I can't believe he is already in P-4...it just seems like yesterday I met him in the baby room at Cross Creek! He is just getting so big! You know your kids will always be my favorites! Call me so we can get together soon!
Love,
Ms. Brandi

Thanks for the pictures! They are priceless! I love Sutton's bald head in the first one. Owen even said, "There's Sutton!" I loved it! Maybe it will be easier next year because the baby will be here by then and you'll need some baby time??? No, I am pretty sure no matter how many kids I have at that point, Owen going to school for 5 days will freak me out!
