I love this picture! We don't have all of our cousins in here....don't know why! I think Ragon had already left the lake and headed home for nap...and Greyson was still in his momma's tummy. And Cooper....well he was probaby running around scoring soccer goals somewhere! The kids were playing at a VERY old tree house that my sisters and I used to play on growing up. And then uncle Sean was helping them swing on the rope....they had a blast!
I am looking forward to lots of family time with all of our families over the holidays...and lots of fun memories. I thought about making a list of fun things I wanted to accomplish...instead of putting up the tree, making a fun night of it with the kids and making cocoa like we did with my grandma Jo Jo every Christmas. I don't want to get so busy, that I forget the fun in it all. I have Christmas music playing right now!

Hey Laura! I'm a total Christmas girl and I have a lot of memories from my families Christmases growing up. Jim and I decided that we are not going to get so busy on Christmas time anymore. We decided to not go to every Christmas party that we were invited to and to only buy one gift for each family member. Last year was the first Christmas that we put this to practice and it was great! We got to spend more time with each other with no Christmas stress. Enjoy your Christmas season and making new memories!

All we need to do is find those santa mugs to serve mom's christmas hot chocolate over....then play some john denver in the background!
I too often think that we run through this time of year way too fast and we forget that we are not only supposed to be living this life...but teaching our kids what this is about. Not dragging them from one "event" to another. Our neighbor was on his roof today putting up lights and the boys were amazed. We plopped down and watched for what seemed like an hour. They wanted to know all about these lights and what Jay was doing up there. Owen then suggested I hop up on our roof to do the same. I informed him that only big boys could do that! Hee, hee!
I LOVE Christmas time. Yes, we miss a million Christmas parties, but who cares! I just blame it on my husbands job! Great excuse, huh?
Love you! Love the picture more! When I asked Cooper who he hoped could come to his party, he only named his cousins. How cute is that!
I just realized that I said I love the picture more than you...I believe this must be my sleep deprived brain speaking... Of course I love YOU more, Rae!
