Today, we got to see our 3rd SON on the Ultrasound! I just caught myself smiling as I write this.....
Luke, we are so excited to meet you in person. I feel you move inside of me, and I can't wait for Daddy to feel your kicks too. Today was so much fun as we went to the Imaging Center...and we took your older brothers, Max & Sutton with us! They loved seeing you on the computer, and Max was especially enjoying the sound of your heartbeat! Max has told me for the last few months that you were a boy...and today we saw it for sure!
Today after the ultrasound, Max said this to me, "Mom, you know...God knows what we need..and he gave us another brother. See, when you have two brothers then God knows that you need another one..." (I wanted to cry....I love hearing things out of a child's mouth!)
I was thinking today....God has entrusted us with three boys, who we wish to raise as Godly men. I wonder what kind of plans God has for them....I wonder what they will decide to do in the future. Either way, boys...Daddy and I love you....we are so thankful and grateful that God decided we would make good parents for you.
I asked the kids today at lunch what they are thankful for since it is Thanksgiving tomorrow....Max quickly told me, "My baby brother Luke!"
That sums it up....Luke, we are so excited to meet you in April! Max thought today was "the day" and asked me if he could hold you. Soon enough, we will be holding you. And, I wonder....who will you look like? Will you look just like Max & Sutton? Or will you look totally different? I can't wait to see you! We are 18 weeks pregnant, so we've got more time to be together....but I'll be counting down the days until we can hold you!

I have been praying all day that the ultrasound would show a perfect healthy baby, yea GOD! I am so excited for you and your household of little men! My dear friend has three boys, and life couldn't be crazier and sweeter all at the same time for them! Congrats! :)
That was sooo sweet. I have to admit, I am WAY to excited for a boy. I am so excited these two boys will be so close in age. They can play "barb" with eachother...Thanks for showing me how to raise boys...max was right....He gives you what you need...Luke - we are anxiously awaiting your arrival!
I LOVE this post! I LOVE hearing his name! I LOVE knowing he's a HE! It just makes it that much more real for this auntie! I have been praying for you today. You did a great job with this post and I love how you wrote it to Luke.
By the way, it really has screwed me up because I can't say, "the boys" or "my boys" or "boys!" so that's another fabulouso thing about them all being the same sex. Now I just sound like a nut with tons of ankle biters saying, "the kids!"

How exciting...3 boys...Josiah is going to be so jealous! Congratulations! We could not be happier for you...Max is so in tune to God and I think it is such a reflection of you and Greg as parents! Daniel & I have been asking Josiah to take over the prayers to sell our house...I think he's more in tune to God than we are at times! He's been composing songs (amazingly unique and very spiritual) I am drawn to tears each time...It'll be neat to see Max & Sutton interact w/ Luke (love the name!!) You are an amazing mom & your boys are so blessed! And I agree with Max...God does know what you need! So precious!

Oh my goodness, how totally exciting! 3 boys is so much fun, I can't wait to hear your stories! I am sure they will parallel ours. God is so good and it is a little scary I tell you, to have the responsibility to raise 3 Godly men, but He never gives us too much we can't handle without Him! 3 boys is wonderful!

I am so EXCITED for all of you about little Luke, I have a grandson named Luke. I am sure he will be just as PRECIOUS as Max and Sutton. I cannot wait to see him. Praise God for little boys......
can't tell you how THRILLED I am. God is so perfect in his ways and I'm amazed everyday at His goodness. So thankful for a healthy baby and will continue my prayers!
