Last week we were in the car running errands, and my sweet nieces were in the car with the boys and I. We had great discussions in the car that day, mostly about questions on the Bible, or how many wise men were really there when Jesus was born....it was good stuff!
On the way to take the girls to my sister, Max went into a "talk" about how he didn't like having a brother. My heart sank because that's all this little man will have. But before getting too emotional, I asked him what he meant and quickly realized it had nothing to do with "brothers". So here is our conversation:
Me: What do you mean honey?
Max: Well, brothers are loud at night and they wake me up....
Me: Well, the next time Sutton is being loud at night, I can come up there and talk to him. Don't worry, we will teach him to be quiet at night, okay?
Max: Well, last night I was having a beautiful (he really said beautiful) dream and I was just about to kiss the girl when Sutton screamed and woke me up!
Okay, at this time, the girls and I just DIED laughing! We could not believe what we were hearing! Lauren and Ann Marie started "calling" who would get to tell their mom! Lauren said, "I get to tell mom first".
Max continued: See we were at the castle, and the dragon was there and I was just about to rescue the girl!
Sounds like a scene from Shrek to me! I don't know where he got it, but sure it could have been from a movie or something. When I told my friend Carrie she said they had watched a movie like that at her house....so that could be the culprit as well!
Either way, it was too funny!

I am laughing and laughing and laughing! Thank you God for Max, for laughter...and for the prince he is going to be someday to some lucky princess! ...long, long someday away!
That is too cute! I don't think we are anywhere close to that yet, we kind of think girls have cooties!
Still funny. Max is going to be a ladies man....I LOVE it....at last he is the hero in his dream!
I have already told this story several times! Hilarious! I love how he is so sure about himself. I love that he's not at all ashamed or embarrassed that he's trying to kiss this girl!
Ginger said that Brent kissed a girl in preschool when he was 4! He said his teacher wasn't there and that he kissed her in the coat closet! HA! Watch out metro girls!
Priceless! I love his imagination...movie or not..it is awesome!
We do watch princess stuff around here. Sorry. I guess your kids are picking up a lot around here. Hopefully they won't walk around naked like my son!!!
Oh how I love it! That just cracks me up. I'm in the airport with tears in my eyes laughing! H did something similar to a few weeks back that I need to write down. So fun!
