Luke Update

Little Luke man...I realized that the last time I wrote you a note was when we found out who you were! You have done a lot of growing since then, and you're almost ready for your arrival! It's amazing to feel you move inside of me...and sometimes you move so much that it makes me feel sick to my stomach! I think you move more than Max or Sutton did. And since you are my last pregnancy, I am trying to soak up every minute and enjoy it.

I am curious...REALLY curious....who will you look like? Red hair, blonde hair or brown? Are you bigger than your brothers? The space we are currently sharing feels very tight! I keep wondering if you are breech, like your brothers were. I feel a lump in my ribs and I don't know it it is your head or your bottom!

I have enjoyed our time together, but I am counting down the days to see your sweet face in person. We have your room ready....we have tiny little diapers, your new diaper bag (with your name on it!) We even have your stocking ready for Christmas....all we need is you now....

Your brothers have been waiting for you for a long time, and they don't understand why it is taking so long for you to get here. So the other day we went to the store and bought a white poster and made a "Countdown to Baby Luke" poster. We wrote a verse from the Bible on it, and then wrote down how many days we have left until you get here. Every day, we go to our chart and mark off. I told your daddy that I didn't know if it was more for mommy, or for the kids. He said it is for all of us. We just can't wait to meet you!

Dr. Thompson said we can see you on April 13th....the day after Easter. So, as of today that is 24 days away! I am trying to keep myself busy so that the time passes quickly.

I saw this mom today who had three little boys. I wanted to tell everyone that I too would soon have three little boys....I did get to tell one lady that sat next to me. She asked, and I gave her an ear full!

So, little man, we are praying for you. We look forward to seeing you soon. We pray for your safety, and your health.....

Love you always,
Mom (& Dad)

Lukie...I think that is what Ragon will call you. She adds the "ie" to everything....She calls your brother "suttie"...we are so excited for you. Your mom is super excited. She made me spend 45 minutes putting together a basinet for you....yes, it was almost 30 days before your arrival, and she laughed at me most of the time...but we are all excited to see you. Just so you know, I think your hair will be brown! We love you baby boy!

Luke, I have only known your mom for a short time, but know that you will love her. She is so excited to meet you and have you meet your brothers. We have been praying not only for your safe arrival, but also that you will grow to become a man of character and integrity as God desires for you to be. Enjoy your next few weeks of quiet as life will become quite a bit louder soon!

Luke...I love you sweet man and cannot wait to hold you and kiss you and get to know you. I cannot wait to see if you are a cookie cutter resemblance to your older brothers. I cannot wait to see what your personality is like and what things you love. I pray that your arrival will be healthy and you will be perfect. Know that our love for you is unconditional little man. Our Savior created you perfectly in His image and has incredible plans for your life. I am honored to be your auntie and get to spoil you rotten! Much love sweet angel...

This is actually Aunt Molly, but I can't figure out how to log off without losing my incredibly sweet note to you...so, trust me..its the best aunt EVER! Hee, hee!

Laura-

The days will hopefully go fast, and that soon you will be holding Luke in your arms, and big brothers will be wanting him to play ball, and not understanding why all he does is lie there! It has been a honor to watch your family grow over the past couple of years, and I look forward to seeing all of our boys grow into Godly men in the years ahead.

Thanks for your words of encouragement, and following along with us on Wyatt's journey!
