Trip to the Zoo

We renewed our membership to the zoo, so we headed out on Tuesday to go play! We went with Stephanie and Abby Kate Qualls and had a great time. Even before we left the house Max was reminding me that we needed to get some bread to feed the fish and the turtles. They sit at the entrance of the zoo and you wouldn't believe how big some of them are. SO, I need to explain why Max has this "ensemble" on! He loves these two belts...actually he loves all belts! So this day he put one belt on his head and one around his waist. Then he clipped his coin "wallet" onto the belt. It was quite a look. Oh I am sure people wondered about his "outfit" but I wanted him to be able to enjoy whatever it was he was doing....BUT, I had to share it with you!

Max, I love your creativity. Daddy and I are amazed at the things you come up with...to play with, the games you make up...you are very creative! Sutton found the Polar Bear and thought he was really neat! I liked this picture of him just enjoying the view! Poor bear must have been really hot, it was very hot that day! Sutton, you were funny today! You loved getting to run around and not being stuck to the stroller. However, my handy dandy stroller came in handy when they were tuckered out...they were so heavy I was literally sweating from just pushing them!
Here is a cute pic I took of Stephanie & Abby Kate while we waited for the train to take us back to the entrance. We had a good time, but I can't wait for it to get cooler, and we'll go more often. I can't put the picture that Stephanie took of me and the boys, well because it looks like I am holding them both down just to get a picture....so I decided to leave you with a more pleasant picture instead!

Wow, great post! I love that you leave Max is what he puts together. You are such a good mommy and I need to work on that! Max is extremely creative and I love that about him. He so much reminds me of his daddy. I mean not the belt on the head look or the "wallet" strapped to his belt. But they have the same thought process. Love it!

LOVE THE BELTS! Oh they are only little for so long. I think he looks great and you never know when the last time he will wear belts like this again. There is a great book called let me hold you longer that I love to read and remind myself of when stuff like this happens.
