Well, it's been a long time since I posted last. We've been busy around here. I have lots of great pictures to add....
But in the meantime, I wanted to ask everyone to give us some good baby names. With the boys, we had names picked very early on...and we both loved their names. This time, we have come close on girl names, but a boy name hasn't been a fit for either of us. So I thought I would ask for help!
Okay for a girl, Greg likes "Gabby" and I like "Reese". Remember people, our last name is Grunewald....so you have to be careful what you put next to that name. Sorry Grunewalds, I love you...and our name! But, I'm just being honest! :)
So I told Greg we could name a girl Reese Gabrielle...notice how my name came first. I know it's selfish....sorry honey! We can talk later about that....
Chances are we are going to have another little man around here, so I find it very necessary to get a boys name decided.
So, here are my rules about picking a name: (I am aware that I am weird...it's okay!)
1) Needs to be somewhat unique, not an extremely common name. But not weird like "Cocoa"
2) Needs to go with Sutton and Max.
3) Can't start with an "S" or "M". (I love the name Sam, but I don't want it to be Sutton, Sam and Max...like we forgot to make Max's name start with an S).
4) Oh yeah, and it has to sound good with our last name.
Okay, that's all of the criteria. And yes, I know I am high maintenance. Actually I wasn't totally aware of it until a few years ago when a sweet friend of mine sweetly told me....she was laughing. And since then, I agree!
So, this high maintenance momma is asking for your help! Let me know what you think!

I hate to point out that you do have a couple of rules you left out...it can't rhyme with Sutton or Max, like it can't end in a "n" sound, like Holden or Landon...
And, none of your friends can have used the same name...and you have too many *#@* friends! Just kidding, but I do think I am out of boy names for you!
Can't wait to hear some of the suggestions because I may have to keep them on my list if you don't use them or have a girl!
Love you and thanks for the post...we NEED pictures though!
Aunt Molly
Laura, I love, love your girl name! Reese was one of my favs, but we are for sure having a little man.... As for boy names, I am searching too! Have you thought about having the same name for a boy, but spelling it Rhys? It's kinda a stretch, I know :) Here are a few we are chewing on, and since we don't really hang out, it wouldn't really break your "friend" rule:
*Miller
*Becket
*Reid
*Cash
*Pierce
(my hubby really likes one syllable names, can you tell!!) There have also been a bunch of other names suggested on my last blog entry, check them out!
When do you find out the gender?
~kim
Okay...love Pierce...Of course, since this is a blog to keep for the boys....you must mention that Max wants to name the baby Rexie....or you could use the name he picked for Greyson....Sonny...I still get tickled at the names he comes up with. David suggested Graham...What about Tate? Don't run the name by David...he will come up with some reason to pick on it!! Can't wait to find out gender....does it mean something that you can only agree on girls names??? I vote for Reese Gabrielle....
I know two little boys named Reese/Rhys (actually, one of each spelling), so that favorite name could go either way. Also, I love Reese Gabrielle in that order. It just flows.
I fell in love with the name Keaton (which could go either way, though we were actually planning to use it as a girl name before the OB finally found Zachary's little boy parts.), but I have that same weird "n" rule you have. I don't like the repitition of the "n" with our last name. Is it the same way for you?
As for boy names, I don't have any specific suggestions, but I've found the baby name list at www.babycenter.com to be very helpful. Good luck coming up with something adorable!
I am going to against one of Molly's rules and say you can use any of our names, because I just love them sooo much! So Caden, Carter and Cole are all up for grabs!
Also since I am obsessed with C names, here are a few we didn't use that I loved. Colton, Cooper (oh wait, can't use that, duh!) Conner, Colin, Cameron, Camden, and Colt.
Just a few ideas...it is so hard to pick a name! But good luck. When you do find out! 3 boys sure is a ton of fun! There is never a dull moment around here, and I am not sure if that is because there are three kids or three boys.
I have to say I am a little partial to the name Reid, it does make for a great boy name. But for me that would have been a little weird Reid Reid. My other favorite boy name is Isaac. Our next boy was to be William Isaac (William is Chris' first name). As far as girl names Jana comes up with some pretty good ones. For me I used up my two favorite. God Bless ya and we can't to see you all. Love Julie
Oh so fun thinking of names! I love to think of names. Okay here is my two sense on naming this baby. I'm thinking boy names b/c that is all I know:)
I love Tate! You know I liked Colton when we were deciding but I think Colt sounds better w/ Grunewald. I also like..
Barrett Grunewald
Reid Grunewald
Will Grunewald
Luke Grunewald
Parker Grunewald
Jonah Grunewald
Blake Grunewald
Chase Grunewald
Jake Grunewald
I like to put the last name w/ it b/c it really makes a difference...oh this is too fun can't wait to see what this precious one is! When do you find out?
Now I feel bad for not submitting any names! Did you keep my emails or do you want me to re-enter the contest??? Hee, hee! This is too much fun! I have to say I love Colt
Truitt
Miller-I second that one Kim!
You need to set up some way we can vote. Wait, I just realized you are only looking for suggestions, we can't actually name this child for you! Love you!
One more rule: Needs to pass the "banafana" test. You know - Chris, Chris Bo Biss, Bananafana Fo Fiss..
Rastard is out.
I like Reese for a girl, Reece for a boy. Though, multiple syllables really works better with Grunewald.
Christopher Reece Grunewald has a really nice ring to it.
Today's installment of names that I have come across:
*Finn
*Gage
*Jett
*Brewer
Hmmm? Anything tickling your fancy yet??? :)
Ok...I thought if it was a girl Max said her name would be Sunshine!!ha..I have no clue why I remember that!
Some of my fav's are:
Chase
Ried
I think Reese could go for both...just use that and focus on a middle name for the boy...may simplify your search. Can't wait to see what #3 will be!!!
Gunner
Jude
Ryker
Williams
Jett
Truitt
Tanner
Holt
Davis
Rhett
Asher
Ashton
Anson
Hayden
Payton
Okay, I'm spent. Some of these were one's you liked and I am just reminding you. Talk to Greg about this and he made me almost pee myself! He really thinks he's gonna call her Gabby regardless and he didn't mention what he was going to call "him"!
Good luck! I LOVED seeing you but as always, HATE leaving!
Molly
Ok, I am more of a fan of Gabrielle Reese, than the opposite. Sorry Laura. However, for girl names: Ava, Emma, Mackenzie, Keaton, Kylie (one of my favorites), Kayla, Jada and Hannah. For boy names: I do like Pierce a lot, Hunter, Gavin, Gage, Tate, Brady, Noel, Houston, Riley or Hayden (might be more of a girl name.
Can you tell I have thought about this a lot? Good Luck and Congrats.
