Colorado Camping Trip

Hello girls! What a beautiful picture of you all! We had a great time visiting Greg's grandparents in Colorado Springs, Colorado for a few days! Uncle John is so good with his nephews....he loves them all and takes such good care of them. We love you Uncle John!

Gma, we loved getting to be with you and just hang out together! Thanks for suprising us and coming on the trip!

My first trip to Colorado during the summer was a blast! I was nervous about it, I will admit. But my sweet family helped make our camping experience amazing! We went with the Grunewalds, and were so suprised to find that Gma & Madeline were coming with us on our trip too! This is a picture of Max, and his great-grandfather Max fishing. Max (mine) thought we were really trying to catch our dinner and was so sad to leave empty-handed!

Here is my father in law John pointing out land to me...we were being silly and dreaming about buying land there! It was beautiful!

Uncle John & the boys! This was at the campsite "gameroom". Papa John brought over some $$ for the boys to play video games...they had so much fun.

The mountains were gorgeous. I have never been during the summer and loved seeing the mountains at a different time of year!

Luke & his great-grandfather, Max chillin' by the campfire. Luke was such a great baby...he took his usual naps in our cabin & was such a joy to be around (as usual).

We celebrated the summer birthdays. Somehow Gma got cut out of this picture, but her birthday is in August, so we celebrated those too! Grandma Dee is amazing...she had a cake made and brought it out (along with presents) to celebrate. It was so fun!

It's a tradition to make sailboats, or boats, on the camping trip and then have a race to see whose is the fastest. Sutton & Greg were working hard....

I love this picture because it shows just how magnificent the trees are, and how tall they are compared to Sutton!

Here is our family stopping to take a picture while they boys fished. They started out without a real hook, but it wasn't long before they switched out...which meant the rest of us had to be careful not to lose an eye!
